Yesterday they took some X rays and my knee has gotten much worse. It's bone on bone now. My doctor says I'm going to have to get knee replacement surgery eventually. What really disturbs me is after I get out of the hospital I won't be able to do a lot and I can't afford to hire someone to come in.
My jeans ripped last night so I went out of town to Target today to get new ones. Good news: I was able to get new ones. Bad news: the only place near that Target to get lunch now is homophobic chicken sandwiches. Boooooooooooo! I got a Pride rainbow shirt because homophobic chicken pisses me off.
Also when I had to call my parents to talk to them about this surgery business they bugged me about my weight again.
Did some grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, went swimming, did laundry, went to my favorite cafe to get a lemon bar, and I ran into a friend yesterday and asked him over for drinks tonight. I'm waiting for him to call me right now.

Make sure whoever does the surgery is a good doctor. My mom had a failed knee replacement (all the doctors fault) and what they have to do when that happens is awful. My mom is disabled for life.

I am sorry for the fact you need the surgery. :(
Is there a possibility that there is someone (or an association) who could volunteer to help you during the time after the surgery when you are so limited?
