Had a lot of weird shit thrown at me. L has covid and didn't tell me, apparently it's not bad enough to have to go to the hospital but I still should have been told. The stove alarm guy showed up a day late. I'm just glad he didn't walk in while I was taking a shower or something. They say they're going to start opening up the pool which I'm very happy about but they said they would do that last year and they never did so I don't know if I believe them. And this morning I was watching TV and the blu ray player froze up so I thought, "OK, this is kind of annoying, maybe there's some crap on the disc" so I took it out of the player--and the picture was still on the screen! Does anybody know enough about electronics to tell me what the hell that was? (L knows a lot about electronics but if they're not feeling well I don't want to bother them.)

I have a VCR that had a button you could push to get a digital freezed image of what you were watching up on the TV screen. I would stay there until the tape ended or until you pushed the button again. It was great for getting a freeze frame without wearing a tape out. Maybe your BluRay does that?

I think it was rather selfish of L to not tell you that they have Covid, since you were in contact with them within the past two weeks.

It would be wonderful if the pool were finally open again.

At least the alarm people finally arrived, so that's out of your way now.

Well, I think that was quite selfish of them, and that they treated you poorly by not telling you immediately since you're a good friend and often visit.

If you were around L within 5 or so days of being around you, you absolutely should have been told. You have the right to test and protect yourself.

no no no, I have not been around L in a long time. I couldn't go to their house because their housemate has covid, which I was told about.
