Really wiped myself out today, went to 4 different grocery stores and still didn't get everything I wanted plus had to do most of this on foot because the buses are fucked, and the groceries were super heavy. I wish I had a car. Had some Yorkshire tea.
I had a lot of fun at J's yesterday but it was a real hassle getting home afterwards because of a few different fucked up things involving buses.
Did I mention I hate the buses?

When I moved to Richmond, I was kind of excited at the idea of being able to take the bus system to work (because it's free for VCU employees)... and then I discovered that where I live isn't on the bus route, haha. I'd have to drive over halfway to work to reach the bus line, and if I'd driven that far, then what's the point of taking the bus when it's only a 12 mile commute?

I was trying to get home from J's house late last night and the bus went flying right past me and it wasn't even in the right lane. I waved it down so at least the stupid bus driver saw me but because of my messed up leg I couldn't run after it. She said she thought I was just hanging out at the damn bus stop. Because of course if you're at a bus stop it apparently doesn't mean you're actually trying to catch a bus, does it? Fucking idiot.
