Looking forward to a live Rifftrax simulcast of Carnival of Souls today. That's one of those movies that you kind of have to have seen to have any cred as a film geek, along with Eraserhead and Metropolis, whether you actually like them or not.

Wouldn't have put that in same group, but did manage all three. Not a film geek, but someone managed them. Also Liquid Sky and Dark Star.

I love Liquid Sky! I also like Dark Star

Metropolis I liked, but the rest are "meh" for me.

Oh, I really didn't like Eraserhead or Carnival of Souls, I think they're both very overrated, but pretty much every real film geek has seen them and there's no denying they have cult status.
