I went out and bought a jigsaw puzzle with a bunch of birds on it to take to my dad when I visit my parents in a little over a week. He loves jigsaw puzzles and birds. The store was late opening up so I had a cup of tea at a cafe across the street while I was waiting which freaked me out a little because it's the first time I took my mask off in public to drink the tea. (I also bought a cookie at another cafe but I took that home to eat it later.)

I felt weird the first time I went out in public to eat, too. I kept my mask on until the food was delivered.

I also felt uncomfortable the first time I had to move my mask to drink something in public. How odd that something less than a year old has become such a habit.

I don't think it's that odd, it's been over a year and it's done every time I leave my apt and it was about survival.
