I hope I don't get too many people mad at me for this one, especially because some of my friends are religious and I'm an atheist and I'm honestly not trying to offend any of my friends but this is my opinion, OK?

A book that came to you at the wrong time

The bible. I think kids get taught religion when they're much too young to think critically about it. My parents' religious beliefs really screwed my head up and are one reason my childhood was so fucked up.

I'm not going to disagree with this. Often religion is offered when a child is too young to make up their own mind and it can lead to many problems later in life. Rather like imprinting a duckling.

It's funny how they're not too young to be brainwashed into a religious view, but the religious people think trans kids are too young to be their authentic selves. Hmm. ;)

More children need to be taught religion on a relatable level (if they're taught religion at all, of course).
