A book that feels like it was written just for you
The Annotated Alice, original text by Lewis Carroll of course, annotations by Martin Gardner. Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass (I count them as one book) was my favorite book when I was a kid and it's still one of my favorites and the annotations explain the in jokes and trivia and other things. It's just the most amazing book. Also check out Martin Gardner's other books, he wrote lots of them about many different subjects.
