Here's a piece of nasty information I found out, sticking a roach in the microwave doesn't do anything to it. Eurgh.
Went out and got some goodies for my birthday tomorrow, if I can't see my friends or go to any shows I can at least have something tasty. I was trying to read a cupcake package because I love carrot cake but not with pineapple and the print was too tiny on the ingredients list for me to read. (I don't dislike pineapple in general, I just don't like it in carrot cake. It's fine when I make tropical fruit smoothies, but whoever thought of putting it on pizza was ill.)

I am okay with pineapple on pizza (love it, actually), but NEVER in carrot cake. Blech!

No, and if they get into the components they'll break the mechanism in a very bad way. You'll be lucky if the worst that happens is that it doesn't turn on.

Invest in some gel baits (get a variety, because they adapt both to the poison and the bait) and some Gentrol. Apply the baits after the gentrol has dried - just a little dab of bait at a time, because they're too smart to go near big blobs.

I already have traps down for them and they work. What I'd like to know is how the little fucker got in the microwave in the first place. I don't leave the door open.

Any appliance has lots of little cracks and holes that bugs can crawl through.

Seriously, though, add gentrol to your regimen. It's not an insecticide - it keeps them from reproducing, and I believe it was *crucial* in eliminating our entrenched problem.

Roaches can survive an atomic blast. No wonder they can also survive a microwave.

Personally, I love pineapple on pizza, but I realize I'm in the minority.
