Had to deal with yet another damn butter reader in the Trader Joe's this morning. (for the uninitiated, butter reader= somebody in a grocery store, usually an old lady, who completely blocks the aisle with their body and their cart while staring at products without choosing any for as long as possible and gets very offended if you say "excuse me". for some reason, there are apparently a lot more of these people around since the covid situation started.) I also had to deal with a bus driver who decided it would be a good idea to stomp the fuck out of the brake pedal every time. I almost fell off the bus seat several times, and I've got a fucked up leg, I do not need this.

I'm so glad I can get groceries pretty reliably with pick-up and delivery. I may never step in a store ever again. LOL

I wish you had a reliable way of avoiding such craziness.

And if you don't say "excuse me" you run the risk that they'll be offended at that, which has happened to me more than once, because "you could've asked me to move!"

Omigosh, I am a butter reader! I'm not an old lady, though, and I don't get offended when people say, "Excuse me." Usually, I'm mortified when I realize that I've been blocking traffic because I can't decide whether I want the Hunt's or Del Monte diced tomatoes. Or the El Contadina! It's just all too much for me.
