Dec. 24th, 2020 04:45 pmSpent all day yesterday at the doctor's. I got an ultrasound and an X ray and apparently I have a deep vein thrombosis, they gave me some pills for it. I just took one, I had to wait till after I ate lunch because you're supposed to take these pills on a full stomach.
My parents sent me some $$$ for Xmas but it hasn't shown up in the mail yet. I'll be happy when I get it but I won't really be able to spend it until this crazy covid crap is all over and who knows when that's gonna be. I used to always spend my Xmas $$$ on books and DVDs and going out to restaurants and shows and things which of course I can't do now. Fuck covid.

I realize those assumptions may not be valid in your case, but it is a thought. Could also consider, instead of using their delivery person, using Uber, with the understanding with the driver that you are home, and he/she doesn’t get paid until they hand it off... even if “hand it off” means leaving it on the ground 6 feet away from you, while you do the same with the money. (Sounds like a bad movie scene with paying ransom, but still viable scenario.)
