Not wishing to mention any names in public but somebody on my flist banned me yesterday. I'm tying myself in emotional knots. We had what I wouldn't call a fight, more like a disagreement on her LJ last week but afterwards we had several perfectly nice, friendly conversations, (on both our LJs) including talk about her coming and visiting me, the most recent one being day before yesterday, so I thought she wasn't mad at me anymore. Is that a stupid assumption? Then yesterday I get banned with no comment or warning at all from her?
Do I just not fucking get people?

I'm sorry this happened to you. It's always a shock when something like this happens, but it's more common than you might think. Give it a bit of time. The other person may regret it and try to contact you again, or not. Either way, it's going to be OK.

First, that's her problem not yours. Disagreeing and then acting like all is fine only to ban you is a pretty shitty thing to do. So, that is on her. It was a hard thing for me to learn but it is so freeing once you get to the point you can do it. The people who truly love you can have a disagreement or flat out fight and still love you. It's what true friends do. Would you ban me because I'm religious and you're not? *hugs*

Second, as for phone calls, my voice is fading in and out because of this fucking cough so I'm trying not to talk much. When I am better, I will call and talk until you are well and truly fed up with me. LOL! *hugs* Because oh, do I have so much I want to talk to you about but it gets to the point it hurts to talk. Right now, I have no voice at all. Ugh.
