Kids are so fucking entitled. I went to the grocery store earlier today and there was a kid throwing a damn ball around! There was a man with him (I guess the dad) and he wasn't telling the kid to stop it either, he was throwing the ball too! I just hope they didn't hit someone or break something.

he looked about 11 or 12

Given that most people without kids judge age by height, that gives us a lower age range of perhaps 8 years old. Children between 8 and 12 are very impulsive and bad at taking the possible consequences of their actions into account - especially when those potential consequences don't affect them. How is he supposed to know that this is not appropriate behavior if his parents are not teaching them that?
