I went out shopping with my sister yesterday and then had a really nice lunch at this new Greek restaurant with her and her husband. Because of her schedule I don't get to see her as often as I'd like, which is a shame because we had a great time. (Ironic, because when we were kids we hated eachother. People change.)

That's really cool that you guys are friends. It happens a lot, you know, siblings hating each other growing up, then being really close. I guess you're not forced to share things with each other any more, including space and time. Hmmm, that would be an interesting area of study...

we have very different personality types, but i think that tends to cause more tension between kids than adults. also, she was very definitely my parents' favorite which I think also causes more tension between kids than adults.
