I have started a mad cleaning spree in anticpation of a visit from my mom's older brother and his wife to be followed a couple days later by a visit from their daughter and her husband. This is when I hate owning a house. Too many visitors when I don't feel like cleaning. ;P It's nice that your roomie is so helpful.
