Not feeling very up to doing anything right now. I gained four pounds which I'm pissed about, I know I cheated on my diet at that party but not that much. Also my back hurts from carrying a heavy bag last night and my sleep patterns were not great. I also tend to get depressed on this date because it's when John Lennon died. I'm getting together with friends tonight, hope that cheers me up.

I was in bed, sick with the flu, when my friend John called. "It's terrible!" he said. "Yeah, I feel awful." But he was sobbing--John Lennon had been killed, seven blocks away from where I lived. Later, I went with my friend Dominick to the vigil. I miss John Lennon to this day.
