(no subject)

Well, that was a massive waste of my time and energy. I spent almost all day shlepping around to I lost count of how many stores trying to find a new pair of boots (I have fucked up feet because I have an abnormally high instep) and a pepper grinder. Finally at least found the pepper grinder but apparently you can only open this pepper grinder once and I can't open the bottle of new peppercorns at all. The only thing I could actually find that was satisfying was the burger and glass of wine I had for lunch and a piece of cake at my favorite cafe, which I am now having with a pot of Celebration tea.
And Safeway has Christmas decorations up.
