(no subject)

There was a fire in my apt bldg at about one in the morning. When the alarm went off I thought some asshole had pulled it for no reason (that happens a lot around here) but then I realized a lot of people were leaving so I put my clothes, my glasses and my mask on, grabbed my keys and went out into the courtyard. It was apparently in an apartment that was in a totally different part of the bldg from mine and nobody got hurt, which was of course the important thing. I don't know how much damage was done because I don't know whose apartment it was in and I'm certainly not going to go around knocking on doors.
