(no subject)

Had a fantastic evening last night, roomie and I went to this cute little Greek restaurant and we had a yummy lamb dinner that was not too expensive and then we went to the movies with a friend, we saw A Christmas Story (with Ralphie and the BB gun), which is my favorite Xmas movie and I'd never seen it on the big screen before. It was so fun! Then we went to Peet's afterwards for some hot drinks and interesting conversation, (and the barista saw that i was wearing a button with a picture of House on it so she started playing "Teardrop") then our friend very kindly drove us around in the rain so I could put more $$ on my electronic public transit card. We didn't have to wait very long for the bus and there were actually some rather fun people at the bus stop with us, one guy who was smacking a water bottle with his umbrella so i yelled "Bottle hockey!" and we swatted it back and forth with our umbrellas, plus there was some party going on in the Mexican restaurant across the street from the bus stop with a lot of loud salsa music and these two adorable teenage lesbians started dancing and hugging and twirling around to the music.
