I may have to rethink my conviction that Wodehouse would have turned over in his grave at all the Jeeves and Bertie slash. there is a conversation between them at the beginning of Chapter 14 of "Joy in the Morning" where it REALLY sounds like Jeeves is trying to seduce Bertie and Bertie is too dense to understand what Jeeves is trying to get at.
