Jun. 23rd, 2008 08:55 amI am in a ten ton bad mood because I miss George Carlin. He was one of my favorite comedians.
If Looks Could Kill (part 5)
Having finished in the cafeteria, I hurried back to House's room. He had his eyes closed and I thought he was asleep so I entered very quietly but he said, "I know who that is. Hi."
"How did you know it was me?"
"I don't know any other women who smell like almonds and violets. Cuddy usually favors citrusy scents or Chanel and Cameron likes that baby powdery crap." His voice suddenly got rather choked. "I wanna smell Old Spice, dammit. I don't even care if he screams abuse at me."
"Oh shit, he'd better not." House opened his eyes and gave me a look I couldn't quite read (confusing the hell out of me because normally his expressions are so easy to read). "House, I'm sorry if I offended you but I have to tell you I'm not at all happy with him for shutting you out like this."
"Don't confront him about it."
"Foreman's the one to be thanked for that, then, I saw Wilson in the cafeteria and Foreman talked me out of making trouble. My intentions were to defend you but if you're pissed at me do you want me to leave?"
"Please don't leave."
That had to have been the first time he ever said "please" to me.
