I bow to your expertise as far as foreskin goes, but I wouldn't say no to, say, RSL just because he doesn't have one. And cleanliness never seemed to be an issue with any of the uncut men I saw up close and personal (then again, Italian bathrooms have a bidet to help hygiene of the nether regions).
I can kind of accept circumcision for religious or traditional reasons, in the sense that it's much, much less invasive than FGM. For "health" reasons it's ridiculous, except in countries where they are too poor for condoms and running water.
