Had some cardamom cinnamon tea. My mother called me yesterday with some bad news, my sister's husband had to have heart surgery, I didn't even know he had any heart problems. This cancelled their vacation, I hope he's going to be OK, I absolutely love him.

Aw man that stuff is scary. I mean it's wonderful that we know how to cup people open and fix their heart and many people live long lives afterwards, but it's scary.

my mom said it's one of the simpler operations and he has a really good doctor, so I feel a little better.
