Had some Celebration tea. I want to order more teas because I'm out of that one and Coconut Pu-erh but I have to have them sent to L.'s house because EVERYTHING that gets mail or online ordered and sent to my apt bldg mysteriously disappears and I haven't been able to get ahold of L. for over a week now.
One of the skeptic groups I belong to is actually having the first IRL meeting since covid and they decided to have it at a pub that's inaccessible from where I live by public transit. Thanks, guys! (eyeroll) there was a link to some carpool thing that I had to leave my e mail and physical address and cell phone number at but that meeting is tonight so who the fuck knows if I'm even going to get an answer back. I also have to go to PT later today and won't be able to answer the phone while that's going on.
It did clear up yesterday and I did go swimming.

that is disappointing they couldn't meet somewhere accessible, especially since you live in an area with good transit.

Life is set up for people who own cars. That's all there is to it. I haven't gotten any messages from these people yet.

I guess, but I have found in places with good transportation, like Europe or some American cities, that isn't the case. I suppose I could see it being this way in a place like Texas or Arizona, but not really how I envisioned the Bay Area.

some parts of the bay area have public transit and some don't. also, there are always crazies or people who are out and out dangerous on buses and the buses themselves can be very unreliable. There are a lot of stories I could tell you
