greghousesgfI've been very busy lately but here's a mini restaurant review.
Kate's Kitchen 471 Haight St. This is my absolute favorite place in SF to get breakfast. The omelets and other egg dishes are really good, the bacon is excellent, i think they make their own sausage and there is a terrific variety of pancakes including banana walnut, strawberry granola, ginger peach and one of my faves, pumpkin. They also used REAL maple syrup, not the nasty fake kind and anyone who loves traditional Southern American breakfast would be delighted to learn they do both grits and hush puppies really well. The hush puppies come with honey butter. Yummers.
Saw Greg Proops live with my roomie, he was hilarious as always.
I also did karaoke last night with some friends, both old and new ones. I had so much fun! The only sucky thing in the whole day was getting fucking harrassed by refugees from Jerry Springer both on my way there and coming back. i can't help feeling those people would be more likely to leave me alone if I'd been with someone.
By the way, please check out my wank fics in the mmom community. I just finished posting "Slippery Fingers" and I think it came out rather well.
