After a scare this morning when I thought I lost my keys but I didn't I had a very good day today. I went to this event they have in my neighborhood on the Saturday before Halloween where they close off a big chunk of the street to traffic and give out candy at the stores and lots of people wear costumes. I had to wait for Wilma Flinstone to get out of a bathroom and made a joke about the toilet being a turtle that started talking which got a laugh. Also went to my favorite cafe and got a brownie, got a book at one of my neighborhood bookstores that I've been wanting for a long time but I thought was out of print, talked to a couple of friends and saw Anatomy of A Fall at the movie theater (not the one I usually go to with the beer and dinners).
