Anybody besides me think it's kind of contradictory to be a total bible thumper who thinks stuff like Ouija boards and those 8 balls are evil but be completely into astrology?

I think Ouija boards can be dangerous, but so can hard core Christians. I see astrology as something entirely different, but I find it surprising that someone would be a major Bible thumper and into any of that stuff.

If a person believes in magic then it all comes down to a judgement call on the flavor of the magic. Ergo, Ouija boards and "magic" 8 balls are for real and the movement of light from the heavens is heavenly inspired. Biblical or other religious teaching -- more magical beliefs. So, no contradiction. People just pick and choose which fantasy is "good" and which isn't.
