Hope all went well at the dentist; my appt is on Monday... or at least, that's what I have on my calendar. I haven't gotten a reminder from them yet.

the dentist told me I had a very small cavity but I don't need a filling, I just need to floss and brush my teeth in a different order, floss, water pick then brush instead of brush floss then drowning machine, er, water pick which is what I was doing.

I am sorry for your sister's husband's loss. It's never easy to lose a parent - good, bad or indifferent.

I've never heard of just changing the order in which you do your tooth cleaning to avoid a cavity. In my thoughts, if there's a cavity, then fill the darned thing.

my dentist told me a microscopic cavity can be repaired with fluoride if it hasn't gone too far. I never heard of it either but she's an excellent dentist, maybe this is a new thing. I haven't had a cavity in decades.

Well that makes sense. I think I'll try switching up my routine also - floss, water pic and finally brushing. It sounds sensible to me.
