Went out to the Safeway and I saw a Time magazine cover comparing today to 1968. I'd a whole lot rather listen to the Beatles or Jimi Hendrix than Taylor Swift and I hate Katy Perry so much I want to change my name.

Pfft 8^p ~~ Some study or something on the radio stated recently that people stop listening to new music when they hit 30. Could be true.

Every decade has a lot of trash to go with the gems. The John Lennons are just few and far between. I never listened to Trance electronica until this decade. In the 90's I got really sick of mainstream radio that played the same damn tunes that were hip in the 70's over and over again. I switched to a new station that played "alternative" music. Now that station has stagnated too. But I have MLP fan-made music to fill the new void.

I still liked a lot of music that was new in the 90s and I was over thirty. The only recent song I actually like is Happy by Pharrell. Pinkie's songs are awesome but I'm not really into the other MLP songs. i love the ponies for reasons having very little to do with the music.
