Came back from a parking lot thing at my local grocery store, roomie and I sampled a lot of goodies and i bought some bananas so I can make banana bread with chocolate chips tomorrow. :)
The stupid fucks in my bldg are doing ANOTHER inspection on Tuesday. I'm gonna hurt somebody.

Kutner. It's a shame the writers didn't seem to know what to do with his character other than have him look foolish because he had a lot of potential to be a really interesting character, and Kai Penn can be really funny, witness Kumar. And the suicide thing was handled really badly.

What is up with these inspections?

I loved Kutner.

Kutner was my favorite of the noobs. Too bad he was killed off and can't come back.

they never did them one week apart before, this is really starting to piss me off. I just want them to leave me alone.
I wish they had at least given a hint as to why he killed himself.

With the end of the year coming, there may be pressure on the landlords to wrap up all the inspections. However, it is aggravating to have them happening every week.

I don't think TPTB did right by the Kutner. Very disappointing.

BTW, I finally got up enough courage to take the car into the shop. The repair was minor--a cracked nut around the oil plug. However I have to take it back Monday for brakes.

The lame thing about the suicide is that it came out of nowhere, and the writers tried to make it seem like, "That's how it is! It's always the person who seems happiest..." when, really, the reason they did it so suddenly is that Kal Penn wanted off the show.

David Shore recently insisted the show is not about unhappiness. uh-yuh.

they took the EASY way out for the character! "the actors leaving- LET'S JUST KILL OFF THE CHARACTER!"

There's a part of me that just can't lower my Newbie hate enough to embrace Kutner, even in retrospect.

that's part of what I meant by the business about the writers not seeming to know what to do with him other than making him look like a fool.

also, you had no hint that he was even depressed in the previous eppies, much less suicidal. Plus we never found out why he did it. It's a little like reading a murder mystery and never finding out who the murderer was.

i think if I actually watched the show, that would PISS me off!!
