They're doing another inspection and they SAID they wouldn't run the fire alarms for four hours this time but I don't trust a word they say. I have to go out anyway because I have PT, I might as well hang around out for a few more hours. I'm expecting a phone call but not till tonight.

I don't understand why they run them for hours anyway. Why not just go around and test each one and then everyone get on with their lives?
