Slept like a rock last night which makes a nice change. Actually dared to express a dissenting opinion regarding Hugh, let's see if this gets anyone pissed at me (I hope not).

it was in hughbunnies. apparently he likes family guy and a lot of my fellow Hugh fans started practically having orgasms over it. I don't find family guy at all funny. I prefer south park.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Hugh. I worship him. I totally lust after him.

However, that does not mean that everything he likes I must like as well. And it certainly doesn't mean that if I dislike something Hugh likes that I'm a bad, bad fan.

I've been defriended by bonorattle because I don't gush enough.

Oh, well. I guess I'll just kill myself.

geez, a lot of my friends online and IRL have opinions that are very different from mine. (psst, I even have a couple of friends who are republicans!)

Yeah, I dont' get it either. Don't know why some people in the House fandom are so damn intolerant of other people's opinions. Although I did notice that the person I mentioned is now suddenly good buds with a person that hates me (again, because I have dared to have an opinion that does not consist of mindless squeeing and bobblheading).

they're not very stereotypical republicans. one of them smokes pot and listens to punk rock and the other one is an atheist who loves science and nature.
hell a couple of my friends even like 13 and I can't fucking STAND her. But I like my friends so I save my 13 bashing for other occasions or warn about in my fic, for example, I participated in the lovely karaokegal's Come As You're Not party for the first time last week and my entry said in the intro posted on her LJ, warning: 13 bashing.

Whenever I "bashed" a person/character I didn't like, I always warned people and put it behind an LJ cut. If people are stupid enough to read something behind a cut and get all offended, then that's their problem.

I'm tired of people in the fandom inflicting their POV, opnions, values, etc. on other people. Live and let live. Don't like, don't read.

I have a lot of LJ friends that have different ships and different opinions from mine. I've never defriended anyone because they liked someone I didn't like or shipped a pairing that I disliked. I have. however, defriended people who are intolerant and arrogant because they think everyone should think and act like they do.
